I‘m generally not a big fan of any drink that has vitamins added to it, mainly because the taste of the actual vitamins tends to stand out. For me, it’s like trying gluten-free bread. While you know it can be good for your body, it may not necessarily be good for your taste buds. So when I tried VitaCup coffee for the first time, I confess that my expectations weren’t the highest. The whole healthy k cup movement is new to me so having been tasked with writing a VitaCup French Roast review, I was slightly concerned about whether I would like the coffee.
As soon as had my first sip of VitaCup coffee, I was shocked by how much I thoroughly enjoyed its flavor. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself savoring its deep and rich taste that remained true to a genuine French Roast. Let’s just say that for anyone who is concerned about any unwanted vitamin flavors, you can put your fears to rest. You’d never guess it was chock-full of vitamins. Whatever the folks at VitaCup are doing, they’re doing a really good job producing coffee that’s as healthy as it’s delicious. I never thought the day would come when I’d prefer a ‘health’ coffee brand to a regular one. But today that day has come.
It’s worth mentioning that K-cups® aren’t my preferred choice when making a cup of coffee. I normally find myself using the Keurig® coffee machine when I’m on the run or need a cup fast. On weekend mornings I tend to go with a French press or pour over because I have the time to actually make a good old fashioned cup of joe. Interestingly enough on the weekends I now find myself making not one, but sometimes two cups of the French Roast VitaCup coffee. It is really that good. I also noticed an extra boost in energy and vitality that felt for lack of better words “clean” and “natural”. Like many things in life, you don’t know what you’re missing until you’ve tried something better. VitaCup is a perfect example of that.
For those who aren’t big on French Roasts, VitaCup offers their healthy coffee in French Vanilla as well. They also have an upcoming selection of flavors including a House Blend, Breakfast Blend, and Decaf Blend. I’m definitely looking forward to trying those out when they are available.
It’s amazing to see how much of an impact VitaCup coffee has had on my outlook toward vitamin-infused coffee pods. I’m thankful for a friend who turned me on to VitaCup. I not only get the pleasure of enjoying a good cup of coffee but I get the added benefits of vitamins to help wake me up and start my day off the right way: Focused, alert, and fully satisfied. I would definitely recommend VitaCup French Roast to anyone looking to try a new coffee. You will not be disappointed!
